Three Coins takes its theme from the popular 1954 film "Three Coins in the Fountain". Released by Williams in 1962, the electro-mechanical game features classic bumpers, rollovers, swinging target and flippers while incorporating the popularity of card games into it's artwork and play strategy. Its title and aesthetics show how pinball manufacturers often drew inspiration from contemporary movies and pop culture to attract players but still used the appeal of poker and gambling to get players to drop a dime into a game. Designed by Steve Kordek with art by George Molentin.
